Michael
Waters is founder of the Alliance. His focus is finding solutions to
global humanitarian and ecological issues, gathering sustainable
technologies, designing sustainable homes and communities, and
inventing or assisting work with energy, propulsion, transportation,
food growth, housing and other fields.
Michael
has a multi-disciplined background. He has designed and built custom
manufacturing systems, multi-axis robotics, manufacturing equipment
and systems. He developed an automated book preservation system used
worldwide at institutions like the Library of Congress and the
National Archives and was instrumental in recovery efforts of the
worst library fire of the last century in Petersburg, Russia.
Michael
also designed and built custom homes for 14 years using a variety of
methodologies and has built several aircraft. He is a bush pilot,
competition sailplane pilot and owns a hang gliding/bushplane
ecotourism business in Costa Rica.
